Repetition brings skill.

Nurture the whole child with life skills through music.

Pacific School of Music is a new music school offering lessons in the art of learning to play a musical instrument. We seek to grow skills in a positive and nurturing environment.

The process of working a very high level will affect everything they do, and acquire skills that carry over into many aspects of life, including self esteem, self-discipline, determination to try difficult things, long term goals, as well as sensitivity and skill for making music.

Our vision is to create a more beautiful and loving world through the discipline of studying music.

Dylan Bean, Piano

Dylan Bean took an interest to the piano at a young age while observing his older sister practicing her Suzuki pieces. He began listening to the pieces regularly and learned book one material before taking a formal lesson. After gaining some ability to read music by sight, he became the pianist for school and church choirs. This experience instilled a deep appreciation for the craft and generated opportunities to consistently practice and perform. Dylan Studied Music at the University of Utah, primarily with Dr. Susan Duehlmeier. He performed regularly with the university’s New Music Ensemble under the direction of composer/conductor Morris Rosenzweig. Here he studied and performed eclectic repertoire including works by Joan Tower, Pauline Oliveros, and Morton Feldman. He was awarded a distinguished scholarship by The Presser Foundation and organized a performing series that brought classical performances to public spaces

Dylan believes that rigorous music education and performance is vital to all communities. He enjoys helping students build music literacy and connecting them with musical styles of the past while gaining confidence in public performance.
